The Digital Spell’s games utilize various third-party tools and assets, all of which are open-source and governed by permissive licenses. Below is a list of the third-party tools and assets used in the development of the games:

  • Godot Engine: An open-source game engine used to develop The Digital Spell’s games. Godot Engine does not collect any personal data from players.
  • Krita: An open-source digital painting application used for creating game assets. Krita does not collect any personal data from players.
  • Kenney Assets: Free game assets used in The Digital Spell’s games. These assets are provided under a permissive license and do not involve any data collection.
  • Lucide Icons: An open-source icon library used in the games’ UI. Lucide does not collect any personal data from players.
  • OpenGameArt: A source for free game art, which we used under permissive licenses. No personal data is collected through these assets.
  • ChatGPT: Used for generating content and translations within the games. No personal data is shared with or collected by ChatGPT during the games’ operation.
  • Google Gemini: Used for generating content and translations within the games. No personal data is shared with or collected by Gemini during the games’ operation.
  • Google Translate: Used for translation services in the games. No personal data is shared with or collected by Google Translate during the games’ operation.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Measurement Protocol): Used to analyze anonymous gameplay data. We have configured this service to ensure that no personal identifiers (like IP addresses) are stored or linked to user activity.

3. Data Storage and Security

We do not store any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) on our own servers.

The anonymous usage data collected via Google Analytics 4 is stored securely on Google’s servers according to their security standards. Access to this anonymous data is restricted to The Digital Spell team strictly for development and improvement purposes.

4. Children’s Privacy

The Digital Spell’s games are designed to be safe for players of all ages, including children under 13. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from children. The only data collected is non-personal and anonymous (such as random session IDs and game progress) used exclusively for the support of the internal operations of the game (analytics and functionality). We do not use this data for behavioral advertising or user tracking across other apps.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us immediately at contact@thedigitalspell.com, and we will delete it.
